Scott Collins

Scott Collins will be entering his 9 th year with the Sports Shack and 13th year overall as a coach. Scott has dealt with all age levels ranging from the 12’s to the 18’s. For the past 5 years, Scott has coached the 17-1’s where they have experienced much success. At the Reno Volleyball Festival Scott has coached 17-1’s teams to a 2nd place finish (2005), a 5th place finish (2006), and a 4th finish (2007). In 2008, Scott coached the 17-1’s Team to a 10th place finish in the Open Division at the Junior Olympics in Dallas, Texas. At the end of the 2008 season, the 17-1’s were ranked as a top 20 team in the country. In 2009, the 17's had strong finishes in the L.A. Qualifier (4th), as well as the Vegas Invitational (4th), and ended the season with a Silver Medal in the JO's in Miami. Before coming to the Sports Shack, Scott coached at SMBC for four years.
Outside of Club Volleyball, Scott has also had success on the High School level. Scott coached at his Alma Mater, Harvard-Westlake. He was the Head Coach for the Junior Varsity in 1996, where his team finished first in the Mission League, and placed 2nd in the state tournament.
