Dan Conners

Dan Connors will be entering his 5th year with the Sports Shack. Dan was apart of a successful 2008 season, where he led the 15-1’s to Division 1 finish in the SCVA, and a 10th place finish at the Reno Volleyball festival. Before coming to Sports Shack, Dan served as the Head Coach of the West Coast Volleyball Club Boys 18-Under squad.
Outside of Club Volleyball, Dan will be entering his 3rd year as the 2nd Assistant Coach for the UCLA Women’s Volleyball Program. Dan has helped coach UCLA to produce its first 30-win season and trip to the NCAA Final Four since 1994. Before coming to UCLA, Dan served as an Assistant Coach with the Cal State Northridge Men's Volleyball program for three years, and also served as an Interim Head Coach for Occidental College.
During his college years, Dan attended UCLA where he played for the Men's Volleyball team. Dan played as a setter on the 2001 NCAA runner-up team. He earned his degree in political science from UCLA in 2001. As a prep, Dan was a three-sport athlete at Apple Valley High School.
After playing at UCLA, Dan played professionally for the Almoradi Volleyball Club in Almoradi, Spain. As the team's setter, he led the squad to a first-place regular season finish and a third-place postseason tournament finish. While in Spain, Dan started his coaching career, working with a 16-Under girls team associated with the Almoradi club.
