David Haan will be entering his 5^th year with the Sports Shack. At the Sports Shack, David has coached in the 14’s and 16’s age divisions. In recent years, David has experienced success in the SCVA and Reno Volleyball festival. At the Volleyball Festival, David coached the 14-1’s to a top 20 finish in 2006, the 16-1’s to a 1^st place finish in 2007, and the 16-1’s to a 2^nd place finish in 2008. At the end of the 2008 season, the 16-1’s were a top 10 team in the SCVA.

Outside of Club Volleyball, David coached at Marlborough School, where he served as the Head JV Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach (2005-2007). At Marlborough, David coached the Varsity squad to a 2^nd place finish at the Santa Fe tournament (2005), a 1^st place finish at the Marlborough Invitational (2007), and a top 10 CIF-SS Division 1-A ranking. Outside of Club and High School, David has coached at Pepperdine Girls Volleyball Camp, Westmont Girls Volleyball Camp, and East Beach Volleyball Camp.

As a prep, David played as a setter at Laguna Blanca High School and Santa Barbara Volleyball Club. At Laguna Blanca, David was a 4 year starter earning 3^rd Team All-CIF Honors, 1^st Team All-CIF honors, Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table Recognition 4 years in a row, CIF-All Academic Team 4 years in a row, Laguna Blanca Athlete of the Year, Coaches Award, Captains Award, and a Bronze Medal at the Junior Olympic Beach Volleyball Championships. David attended Pepperdine University, where he majored in Business Administration and minored in English Literature.
