Tim Jensen

Tim Jensen is the Owner/Founder/Director/Head Coach of the 18-1’s at the Sports Shack Volleyball Club. He is considered one of the top Coaches at the Club Volleyball level, and has driven the Sports Shack into becoming one of the premier volleyball clubs in the nation. In his coaching career, Tim has experienced much success in the SCVA and Davis/Reno Volleyball Festivals. At the Volleyball Festival, Tim has led the 16-1’s to a first-place finish in 1999, the 18-1’s to a 2nd place finish in 2000, 3rd place finish in 2001, 2nd place finish in 2002, 4th place finish in 2004, first-place finish in 2005, 5th place finish in 2007, and a 2nd place finish in 2008. During Tim’s 16 years of directing this club, he has helped develop and guide young women to successful collegiate careers at all levels of NCAA competition.
Outside of Club Volleyball, Tim is the 1st Assistant Coach (1998-Present) for the Pepperdine Women’s Volleyball Team. At Pepperdine University, Tim has coached 4 undefeated WCC Championship teams, and seen consistent NCAA appearances. In 2003, the Pepperdine Women’s team was ranked #4 in the country, and was also a #1 seed in the NCAA Regional Tournament.
Before Pepperdine, Tim served as the Head Coach for the Varsity and Junior Varsity Boys’ Volleyball teams at Campbell Hall High School. Tim coached at Campbell Hall for 9 Years, and led them to a four consecutive Final Four appearances in the CIF Southern Section playoffs (1995-98). In 1998, Tim was named the Los Angeles Daily News Coach of the Year.
Tim attended the University of Arizona where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and communications studies. As a prep, Tim went to Campbell Hall where he was a three-sport athlete, competing in basketball, football and volleyball. Tim was selected Campbell Hall High’s Student-Athlete of the Year in 1986 and 1987. He also earned first team All-Delphic League in both football and volleyball.
