Anthony Mezzavilla
Anthony Mezzavilla will be entering his 2nd year with the Sports Shack. Before coming to the Shack, Anthony coached at Pinnacle Volleyball Club and Northgate High School. At Pinnacle Volleyball Club, Anthony coached the 16-1’s in their inaugural year (2007), and he led the squad to top 10 finishes in the NCVA Stockton, NCVA President’s Day, and California Finals tournaments. At the end of the 2006-2007 club season, the 16-1’s finished the season ranked 26th in the NCVA.
At Northgate High School, Anthony coached multiple levels ranging from 8th grade to JV Boys and Girls. Highlights of Anthony’s career are when he coached the Freshman Girls to a 15-1 league record to capture a League title (2005), coached the JV girls to fourth and first place finishes at tournaments (2004), and coached the JV Girls to only 4 league losses (2004).
Currently, Anthony is attending UCLA where he is the Undergraduate Assistant for the Women’s Volleyball Team at UCLA. He is entering his third season with the program.
