Marcio Sicoli

Marcio Sicoli will be entering his 3rd year with the Sports Shack. At the Sports Shack, Marcio has coached in the 13’s and 18’s age divisions. Marcio is known as one of the top volleyball coaches in the world, and he brings a combination of knowledge, style, and energy that is unmatched by any other coach. In 2007, Marcio received the honor of Sports Shack Coach of the Year.
Outside of Club Volleyball, Marcio serves as the 2nd Assistant Coach for the Pepperdine Women’s Volleyball team. He also coaches AVP players: Holly McPeak (2007–Present), Casey Jennings (2007 – Present), Matt Fuerbringer (2007–Present), and Tatiana Minello (2005– Present). A highlight of Marcio’s career was when he was the assistant coach of the Brazilian Beach Volleyball National Team (Adriana/Shelda) that earned a Silver Medal at the Athens Olympic Games in 2004.
Marcio earned his Bachelors Degree of Physical Education from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, where he also played for the Men's Volleyball team as the setter. Before he came to the Sports Shack, Marcio coached Boys' teams at SCVC (12's and 17's).
