The player of the week for 18DE is Alex Tator.  In our 3rd Mandatory Tournament, she led the team all day with a positive attitude, a will to win, and an unflappable demeanor.  She relished the pressure moments – in our second match against Triumph VBC, at 22-20, with our opponent making a run to get back in the first set, Tator came through with a dump for a kill, a solo block, and an ace to account for the last three points.  In a close last match, with our team trying to hold on to our # 3 seed, Alex raised her game to another level.  All day she provided offense, aces, consistent sets and great defense.  She plays the game with class and aggressiveness. She is respectful of her teammates, opponents, coaches, and referees.  Alex was nails all day long.
