2011 Summer Camps
Three camps will be offered this year: Grades 7- 12, Grades 4 -8 and Beach Camp
Setter/Hitter Camp and Basic Skills Camp will be run by

Sports Shack 2011 Setter / Hitter Camp
Indoor camp for girls entering grades 7 to 12
July 18-21, 4:45 - 6:15 pm
Marymount High School
$250
The setter /hitter camp will focus on all aspects of setting and hitting. Each day will consist of a vast array of drills that will be position-specific for all athletes. The combined training progression will consist of single contact to multiple contact, multiple skill drills that will enable the athlete to focus solely on attacking and setting.
The camper to coach ratio will be 9 to 1. The camp is a teaching camp in which the instructors will demonstrate and explain the techniques to all campers. Campers are continually given feedback in specific areas to improve on their hitting and setting.
All drills, session and instruction are designed to provide as many quality contacts as possible to occur throughout the sessions. Campers will be placed in groups that correspond to the age and skill level.
Sports Shack Basic Skills Camp
Indoor camp for girls entering grades 4 to 8
July 18-21, 3:00 - 4:30 pm
Marymount High School
$250
The Basic Skills Camp will focus on all the fundamentals of volleyball. The Camp is a teaching camp in which the instructors demonstrate and explain volleyball fundamentals, skills and techniques that all young players should have as a base for their volleyball careers. Campers are continually given feedback in these areas.
All drills, sessions and instruction are designed to provide as many quality contacts as possible to occur throughout the camp. We will create a positive atmosphere that allows the child to learn the game and walk away confident and with a passion for volleyball at the next level.
